On December 22, 2025, Hung Hau Foods Joint Stock Company (HungHau Foods) was officially honored with the title “Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025”, recognizing its long-term commitment to responsible manufacturing practices and sustainable development. This prestigious city-level award is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, in collaboration with Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA).

Ms. Nguyen Yen – Chief Executive Officer of HungHau Foods Joint Stock Company and Vice Chairwoman of HungHau FMCG Group – represented the company to receive the Green Enterprise award at the ceremony.
As a brand within the HungHau Foods ecosystem, COMOON is proud to accompany the company at this important milestone. The award ceremony was held in a formal and dignified setting, with the attendance of city leaders, representatives of regulatory agencies, associations, and the business community, honoring enterprises that demonstrate excellence in green transformation, environmental protection, and sustainable growth aligned with international economic integration.

In 2025, a total of 155 enterprises met the criteria to receive the Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise title, including 77 manufacturing companies. For food manufacturing enterprises such as HungHau Foods, the evaluation criteria extend beyond full compliance with environmental regulations, wastewater treatment, tax obligations, and corporate social responsibility. They also require environmentally friendly products and adherence to internationally recognized quality and food safety management standards such as ISO and HACCP.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha – Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee – acknowledged the proactive efforts of awarded enterprises in investing in advanced technologies, improving production processes, and developing environmentally friendly product lines. He also expressed expectations that the business community would continue contributing to the development of a green and sustainable economy.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa – Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) and Head of the Organizing Committee – emphasized: “This title is not only a recognition of environmental protection efforts, but more importantly, it establishes a standardized framework that helps Vietnamese enterprises gradually integrate with global green standards. This is a long-term investment process that requires persistence, transparency, and a clear strategic vision.”

The award ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, attended by city leaders, representatives of government agencies, organizations, associations, and the broader business community in Ho Chi Minh City.
For COMOON, this achievement serves as a shared source of motivation across the entire ecosystem, reinforcing confidence for member brands to continue innovating and developing products derived from Vietnamese agricultural resources, prioritizing consumer health and environmental sustainability.
