March 8th Meaning at Diệu Pháp Pagoda Shelter - Giving Love, Receiving Smiles

On March 8th, COMOON had the opportunity to bring joy and warmth to 35 elderly women at Diệu Pháp Pagoda (Bình Thạnh) – women who have dedicated their entire lives to their families and communities and are now finding peace in the Buddhist sanctuary. The charitable trip was not merely about giving gifts but also an opportunity for COMOON to connect, share, and create an atmosphere of warmth and love.

COMOON carefully prepared small gifts such as essentials, candies, fresh coconut water, and fresh flower bouquets symbolizing appreciation and gratitude. The bright eyes and gentle smiles of the elderly women when receiving the gifts made COMOON's team feel the immense value of giving. Each gift, though small, carried sincere affection, with the hope that it would bring joy and comfort to the elderly women on this special day.

The event was not just about giving gifts; it was also an opportunity to listen to the heartfelt stories of the elderly women, allowing us to feel the strength, resilience, and valuable life lessons they have experienced.
