COMOON proudly congratulates OCHAO rice straws, a product of Hung Hau Foods Joint Stock Company (HungHau Foods), on being honored with the Vietnam National Brand Certification 2024. This prestigious recognition marks an important milestone, affirming the quality, credibility, and sustainable value of Vietnamese products in both domestic and international markets.
OCHAO rice straws are made from 100% natural ingredients, carefully selected from a traditional rice flour village with more than 100 years of heritage in Sa Đéc City. The product is safe for consumers’ health, environmentally friendly, and well aligned with the global trend toward green consumption and sustainable development.

In 2024, with its outstanding features and strong alignment with the program theme “Advancing into the Green Era,” OCHAO rice straws were officially recognized as a Vietnam National Brand. Prior to this achievement, HungHau Foods had also received the Vietnam National Brand title four consecutive times for its Happy Food frozen food product lines, further demonstrating the company’s production capacity and long-term commitment to quality.
Since its launch, OCHAO rice straws have earned the trust of consumers in both domestic and international markets. The product is manufactured on modern production lines and complies with strict international standards such as BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, HALAL, and FDA, ensuring food safety and quality before reaching consumers.

The OCHAO rice straws are made from natural fruits and vegetables, giving them a healthy color for consumers.
The natural colors of OCHAO rice straws are derived from vegetables and fruits, making the product completely edible and safe for users. While visually appealing and comparable to plastic straws, OCHAO rice straws offer a safer and more sustainable alternative. Made entirely from plant-based ingredients, the straws can naturally decompose within approximately one month.
Under normal storage conditions, OCHAO rice straws have a shelf life of up to 18 months. When used in room-temperature or cold beverages, they can maintain their shape for 30 minutes to two hours and will naturally degrade after disposal.
Currently, OCHAO rice straws are available in more than 45 countries and territories, including demanding markets such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Europe. In Vietnam, the product has been trusted and widely used by restaurants and hotels for many years, contributing to collective efforts to protect the environment.
